Scientific interests:

Ferroelectric phase transitions induced by off-center impurities, effect of impurities and random fields on these phase transitions, IV-VI narrow-gap semiconductors and oxide ferroelectrics, structural investigations of solid solutions using X-ray absorption (EXAFS) spectroscopy and synchrotron radiation, DFT studies of ferroelectrics and ferroelectric superlattices from first principles.
Moreover: Data acquisition systems in experimental physics.
